Businesses the government is "saving" are flirting with stock penny values which means few think shareholders will make money on these stocks. Few think these businesses will actually survive.

Rich people are quickly converting their currency to gold coins for what they see as a future barter system that the government can't control or manipulate as the demise of western big business and western big governments comes to a painful end.

Less affluent are turning to craigslist and other networks to barter what they have to offer for what they need.

Older people are doing their best to network like they never have. Young people are joining gangs in increasing numbers. Lots of people are hoping to find some kind of comfort in numbers.

As western big business and big government goes the way of the old Soviet Union, the powers who profited from the corrupt system, gasp and struggle to avoid the inevitable.

But it is the inevitable. This is not just an economic depression. This is the end of Western Civilization.
