_____
This was good action romance series. It had a good background vampire plotline where the woman he is drawn to protect was a victim of ex-wife when she was a child. The romance angle of the series is complicated by love triangles where she loves other people and he still has feelings for his ex-wife who has (or family has) found a way to become human. Naturally, he wants to get the formula to become human. He has sort of a bromance or friendship with another vampire. The woman he is drawn to protect naturally hates his ex wife. And when the man (Sophia Myles) loves, dies and Mick St. John refuses to save him by turning him into a vampire, that adds natural conflict. But besides the plotlines, the show is high budget with some really good scene action shots and chase scenes. The series was sleek, sexy, and entertaining.
