Obama listening to who?????????????????

What should be talked about...........

1. Revenue sharing. Money needs to be divided equally among the states with guidelines but not micro management from the Federal Government and crooks in Congress. Yeah, I know state governments are also crooked, but local governments generally are much easier to be held accountable.

2. Anti-Trust. Too big to fail should have been followed by let us bust the bastards up and to stop the damned shell game of investment roulete being played by some companies.

3. Education. Understand that children do not belong to the government. Children are not a natural resource. Education is for the children. Education is not for the government or giant multi-national corporations. Any spending in education that does not improve the quality of a child's life is not serving the child or society and should not be tolerated.

4. Internet. The internet is as an important learning tool for the American people as any school. The government should build a fiber optic network run and owned by the government that maintains net neutrality and takes AT&T and others the hell out of the system. The internet should be looked at as a road and not a utility. No business should own access ramps to our roads and no business should own access ramps to our internet. In the future just as people can set up websites, it should be equally economical to set up full "Internet Stations" similar to Television and Radio stations. This will never happen so long as crooked companies like AT&T are allowed to promote inferior technology, sign illegal agreements with crooked attorney generals on power trips, and openly plan how to throttle and restrict bandwidth even while they charge for full speed.

5. Production technologies need to be put in the hands of the people. Centers need to be set up where people can rent time on equipment where a wide range of products can be produced without huge investments. For example it should be made easy for anyone to design and produce a run of pants, shoes, or maybe even an automobile without having to sell ones soul on wall street or to a banker.

It is so easy to get in the mode to think we are headed for hell in a hand basket or that the world is ending. But even up until we take our last breath, it is important to imagine and fight for a future that will totally kick ass.

Forget whether you believe in reincarnation or not. Just imagine. Would you want to be reborn into the world that our politicians and world leaders are creating for the future. Would you really want to have to go to the school your children are attending????? If you went through today's school system as an underachiever, would it be more likely that you end up a doctor or engineer or even with a modest job, or more likely that you would end up working in prison or going to sleep hungry and in a cardboard box living under a bridge.

Since the Reagan years our society has been too blind to the poverty building around us. And for the blindness. For that indifference. For finding it so easy to ignore the obvious and listening to crazy politicians, we are on the verge of paying a mighty heavy price. And yet, so many among us are still buying into the crooked politician's bullshit.

Some preachers, always loving to blame the sexual sinner, point to vices as societies downfall. No. It is the cold blooded indifference of sanctimonious, pompous, politicians and their religious followers who have put America into difficulties. To think that the poor are somehow deserving of their poverty is the same as to think we all are so deserving, and with the laws of karma and grace, so we are because we did not care. Whether deserving or not, we did not forgive with the laws of grace, and reach out a helping hand to help those victims of the poverty clearly growing around us.

John Edwards spoke best of what he saw happening in America. He had a true fire in his gut to help those much less fortunate than himself. But America didn't care to listen to his message. They'd rather care to join with the media making fun of an expensive hair cut or his sexual misgiving. America's vote in this last election was a vote for economic disaster. It is our Karma. And if America does not demand Obama take to the voice of John Edwards instead of the voices of those who got us into this mess, it may very well take our last breath to save America for a brighter future.
