Some people are saying that Soaps are headed for demise.

I kind of doubt it. Lower wages and less star quality and back to the old days of over the top campy acting might make some of the soaps more interesting.

I am not saying I don't like the soap stars. I do. I don't watch OLTL regular but when I catch it, it is as much to see what Vicki and Dorian and previously Asa are up to than any other reason.

Still, there was something to be said when the soaps were used as a launching pad for new talent and give them a place to improve their talents before getting that big break.
