Finance Station's propanda against the Auto Industry is based largely in ignorance and hate of Working Class Americans.

- It is important to save America's Auto-Industry that serves a cross section of the American Economy.

- It is important to save not just the Auto Industry but America's Industrial Base. Lives were lost during WWII because of the mess that had been allowed to happen in the Pre-War American Economy, and the time it took to rebuild American Industry to do our part during WWII. America's Industrial Base is important to not just our standard of living but to our security.

- The notion that the current structure of the auto makers is flawed and inefficient and therefore the Federal Govenment should just sit with its thumb up its collective ass and should just allow the Automakers go bankrupt is insane. The American Government, the American Taxpayer, was largely responsible for building the Japanese economy with both subsidy and very bad trade laws from the American perspective. It is the duty of our government to solve the economic crisis that our government played a large part in creating. It is time Uncle Sam plays Santa Claus not just to the rest of the world, but right here at home.

If it was not wrong to engage a Marshall Plan to rebuild the world's Post War Economy, then it sure as hell is not wrong to put together a Plan to create a Post Oil Economy and with a focus on our own Industrial Base.
