Poem: Gidget My Girl
|
Gidget My Girl |
|
By Chuck Peters and Juanita Peters |
|
Gidget, my girl, has long black curls
And sparkling eyes that glisten like pearls |
She is soft and warm, this girl of mine
And with me she stays, all the time |
Her turned up nose and stately pose
Add up to make her the perfect rose |
| Into my bed at night she creeps
And I hold her in my arms til we fall asleep |
She's up with the sun,
My fun loving one To wish me good-bye With a tear in her eye
|
| She's just a dog, you may say,
But she thinks she's human and I love her anyway |
|
A poem from when I was in the 7th grade
