Sarah Palin as did Rudy Giuliani's delivered a great speech. And I like Mike Huckabee. Parts of his speech gave me a smile or two.

Obmama and the Democrat's response is that a Bush speech writer helped Sarah Palin with the speech. My response to that would be that at least the Bush speech writer doesn't Plagiarize as both Biden and Obama have been guilty.

General Electric's propaganda network read the rallying call of journalist not to back off attacking Sarah Palin in one breath and then the next breath said that comments attacking the media for a concerted attack on Palin are just crazy. Do these people in the media really think their viewers are blind and deaf to the hateful propaganda and obvious bias of the media.

Earlier in the day, on GE's propaganda network, the dude was asking questions, basically reading the Democrats talking points, and then attacked the Republican answering for using Republican talking points. That is how silly the propagandist working for GE have become during this campaign.

One of the propagandist spewed that the Republicans have controlled Washington for the last 8 years. Excuse me but the Democrats currently control the House and the Senate and to some degree our economy did not really start going to hell in a hand basket until the Dems took control of the House and the Senate. That is an over simplification and to exactly who was responsible for what policies that led to the decline in the dollar and higher energy prices isn't as simple as Democrat vs. Republican. Just as it would be wrong to blame everything on Bush, since some bad policy decisions date back 40 years, it is equally wrong to fully blame Democrats in Congress.

One of the things that was mentioned about Palin which I do find troubling is that she wanted to censor which books are available at the public library. I can't find what books, if any, were actually discussed. Once I read up on it, it sounded more like a difference between herself and the librarian in a turf battle and a peronality conflict than a push for censorship. A library can't carry all books and procedures have to be followed to decide which books are carried. Regardless, in this conflict did Palin first overstep her bounds before backing down. Most probably.

Right now the biggest censor in America is not a Republican. It is Democrat Andrew Cuomo who as New York Attorney General worked out an agreement with ISP's to drop binary newsgroups while setting up a way that the ISP's can violate Net Neutrality in violation of Federal Law.
