Christina Applegate could soon be married with a child.

The actress and her fiancé Martyn Lenoble are expecting, her rep confirms to PEOPLE exclusively.

The Samantha Who? actress says her fiancé, a Dutch bass player, helped her recover after undergoing a double mastectomy.

Applegate, 38, and Lenoble, 41, the former bassist for Porno for Pyros, got engaged on Valentine's Day 2010 after dating for two years. No date has been set for the wedding.

Christina is the daughter of record producer Robert Applegate and singer-actress, Nancy Priddy. Her parents split-up shortly after her birth.

In 2008 Actress Christina Applegate had both breasts removed in an effort to prevent her breast cancer from returning. Applegate had two lumpectomies. It was discovered she had cancer in one breast. She took a gene test that showed that she had the BRCA1 gene mutation, which makes breast cancer and ovarian cancer more likely.
